Embarking on My Maiden Voyage: A Memorable Ship Journey"

During my journey to Manila aboard a ship, I had a fascinating experience. As we sailed, we encountered a cluster of islets that resembled emeralds scattered across a glistening sea.

One particular sight that brought me joy was witnessing a school of fish trapped in a lagoon during low tide, where sea birds were feasting on them.

Amidst the beauty of nature and the abundance it provides for all creatures on Earth, I found myself engaged in thought. Beside me on the ship deck, a man peered through his binoculars, focusing on an island far off in the distance, barely visible to the naked eye. Suddenly, he cried out with excitement, exclaiming, "Look! A battle between the red ants and the black ants is unfolding! It appears the red ants are overpowering the blacks!"

He seemed to take pleasure in observing this miniature natural spectacle, as though he were watching an animated motion picture. His arrogance became apparent, emphasizing the superiority of his viewing instrument compared to my unaided vision.

In response, I acknowledged the vast disparity between us and humbly said, "I'm sorry, sir, I couldn't see what you observed with your impressive binoculars. Nonetheless, I can hear the sound of marching feet, just as you described. Perhaps, as you suggested, the black ants have indeed decided to retreat."

In that moment, I marveled at the intricacies of nature, recognizing that whether perceived through high-powered optics or with the naked eye, the wonders of the world are open to anyone who takes the time to appreciate them.
